Intern Information

Welcome to Euromight
We love to work with interns. A key part of our core mission is to help educate future writers as they document the multicultural stories of their European homelands.

With its diverse populations and multiple languages, covering Europe provides its own unique challenges. As such our interns need to have special qualities.

In addition to strong writing skills in English and a nose for a good story, interns should have a keen interest in the communities they wish to cover. Speaking at least 1 other European community language in addition English is preferred.

As an unpaid intern, you are trading your time for experience and knowledge. To get the most out of this internship, you should be keeping your eyes open and asking questions at every stage of the process.

Internship applicants should also include a brief cover letter and at least 2 writing samples in English in addition to a resume.

Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to notify everyone of their application status. We do, however, examine every application, and if you are being considered, we will contact you.

Email your resume and writing samples to:

Writer's Guidelines focuses on diversity in Europe and in communities where multicultural Europeans are found. We are interested in people, events, trends, and ideas that represent these areas.

We seek stories written in English that are rich with character and drama or that provide new insight into multicultural Europeans and the events that shape their lives. These stories range from 300 to 600 words. To propose one, send an email query and 3 writing samples about multicultural Europe to the appropriate section listed below.

We are particularly interested in writers that in addition to English, speak at least 1 other language of the European Union, especially, French, Spanish, German, Dutch and Italian.

Unsolicited material is almost never accepted. We generally like to discuss suggested story ideas with writers before assigning them.

Send your correspondence to the appropriate section listed below.

Thank you for your interest.
